Day 7.

You have officially made it a week on Paleo! By now, most of the detox side effects are over and you should be feeling damn good. You should be noticing a difference in your WODs and might be seeing some changes with the way your stomach is looking as well. Modern/processed foods cause a lot of BLOAT so with Paleo most people quickly notice less bloat in their face and stomach. Now that you have gotten past the initial days of switching to Paleo, it might be time to tweak your meals a bit. Are you feeling tired? Try adding fats – avocados are a wonerous food people – EAT UP! Feel like you are hungry all the time? Make sure you are eating enough PROTEIN! I’ve seen a few people really slacking on eating protein. That’s our main source of food here guys…the bottom of the food pyramid – what you should be eating most of! I’m also seeing a LOT of fruit…a LITTLE fruit is ok, a LOT of fruit…not so much. Yeah larabars are fucking delicious, but they’re not a substitute for real food. Try for more protein and more veggies. Ya know, those green things? Yeah, veggies…eat those things.

    S: 1/2 grapefruit
    D: with my lovely Sarah…. Cabbage baked with bacon & cauliflower soup & for dessert 6 cherries and a teaspoon of sunbutter

    S: Smoothie (spinach, carrots, 3 chunks pineapple, 1/2 avocado, 3 strawberries, handful blueberries, 7 blackberries)
    L: Salad w/grilled chicken and lemon
    S: Pear + pistachios
    D: steak grilled onions and peppers + stirfry (olive oil, onion, green pepper, squash, zucchini) + 1/2 sweet potato

    crazy question- is a sugar free calorie free monster considered paleo? (I have a feeling you are peeing yourself in laughter right now.. but thought i would ask anyway)

      don’t worry about the time of posting it sends me emails with the correct times.
      your sleep counts no matter when it is, if you are working nights and you sleep 7 hours during the day, it’s still 7 hours.
      and NO WAY JOSE on the monster. too many chemical ingredients.
