when you’re questioning if something is paleo check this…

Today should be smooth sailing like yesterday. You may start feeling a few little cravings, but stay strong! If you can get past the first couple days of detox, you are good to go. If you cheat in the first few days, you’re body is going to keep experiencing the detox symptoms every time….not fun. I’m right here with you guys on this one. Unfortunately, my shoulder injury has taken a toll on me not just physically, but mentally as well. I miss snatching and doing muscle ups. Shit, I miss doing push ups…and I hate push ups. It’s so hard being in the gym watching everyone doing the things I want to do again. I also miss seeing Rx next to my name. Stupid stupid ego. Anyways, I’ve let this get in the way of my healthy eating and regular working out and I need to cut the shit and quit making excuses. Just because I have an injury doesn’t mean I should fall off the wagon and start eating like total shit…which, is kind of what has happened. I, your Coach, your fearless leader, am human after all. It’s time to change all that. Time to get back to eating clean and training hard…even if it’s only with 1 arm.

Enough with the sob. Let’s talk about something awesome. Have you guys checked out paleomg.com yet? I have a girl crush on Julie. Her blogs are hilarious and her recipes are delicious. She does a lot of paleo “treats”, so if you see something that looks good, remember…1x a week is all you get for those. All of her meat dishes are to die for. Try the Mexican Breakfast Hash…yummmmmmmmm
