Ok, back on schedule here.
How did you guys fare over the weekend? Hopefully you guys were able to stay clean. I’m interested to know how you guys are feeling. Are you experiencing detox symptoms? Headaches? Short fuse? Hungry? How are you feeling during workouts?

Short and sweet post today guys, work is crazy. It gets warm for 2 days straight and people act like it’s 100 degrees out. Chill out people. You will survive without your A/C for a little bit, it’s not even hot yet. damn!

Really Missing my Gum! But other then that, I’m Feeling Great! It’s crazy how Bloated I was before, and how fast it has dissipated!
I used to chew gum all the time. Just ask Tony. I have been without it for a year now. I still wonder if I have stinky breath sometimes when talking with my students but I just drink lots of water.
Also I used to get bloated every afternoon from my lunch and that was one of the first things that went away for me. It was great.

Feeling pretty good about the Paleo Challenge! Get grumpy once in a while, but remind myself of the benefits and then its fine! I think that’s carrying over into my workouts too….I seem to get pissed at my poor performance more so lately… Not sure if that’s due to the change in eating or competitiveness?…. And maybe because the school year is coming to an end…..BURN OUT Major time!!!! Can’t wait for summer!

I am feeling fairly well and learning a lot about paleo. Thursday my head was killing me from caffeine withdrawal but I have made it through and no soda for 6 days. I’m not bloated at all which is a difference for me and energy has certainly picked up during the day but about 9 pm I’m dead and ready for comfy clothes and the couch or event bed. I have found this to be way easier in regards to finding food to eat and definitely will continue to eat healthier once the challenge is over. I’m feeling and seeing great results in 6 days! Thank you for all the help for this person who is newer to crossfit and brand new to paleo.

I’ve been feeling pretty normal, for the most part I haven’t really been “off paleo” since Lurong. Now obviously I have indulged since then but I really try to stick to the eating plan especially during the week. I was able to WOD 3 times last week and train an addl day with josh so it felt great to be working out so much at the being of the challenge. I feel for those who are struggling with headaches and illnesses, I thought I was going to die last September when my first challenge started, detoxing from sugar and crap food is the worst!!!!

The first few days were pretty rough and I really felt the detox. Now I’m feeling a lot better. The biggest change is that usually on days I work out I’m exhausted the entire day, but wasn’t yesterday. I didn’t feel as sluggish during the WOD–when I had to slow down/stop, it was to catch my breath.

I am beginning to feel better but this weekend I was a raging bitch on a rollercoaster of emotions like a pregnant lady about to pop. I went to dinner and got a steak and veggies and it was repulsive and I almost started crying at the table. Ive wanted to punch every customer in the face that orders shitty food (which basically is the entire menu at work) because then I have to smell and watch them eat it. My mom actually told me I don’t look like my normal, happy self. HOWEVER, the last couple days have been better. I am not a total shit head to people anymore and my body is getting used to the healthy food I’m consuming. My Wod’s have been a little difficult due to my body feeling heavy but that should pass relatively soon.

STAY STRONG girl. Detox is no fun, but it shows you how far off a healthy lifestyle you got. Learn from it. Detox this time and stick with Paleo. Doesn’t have to be 100% all the time after the challenge, but make Paleo a lifestyle choice and fit it into your daily intake.
