Day 24
Starving. Stuck in traffic & going to be late to the 5:30 class. FML.
I tried to fit way too many things into 1 day. I did get some “relax” time today though. Took my mom out to lunch at Panera and introduced her to the hidden menu. She was impressed and thought I was some VIP of Panera. It was nice getting time to actually sit down and talk to her. We played catch up then she went with to watch me get tortured at acupuncture.
Today i had way more anxiety going in than i did on my initial appointment. I actually knew what i was in for this time. More needles in my ankle. Yes! Kurt could tell I was a little more wound up this time so he suggested doing some calming points. I quickly agreed (dumbass) and he started swabbing the flat, inside part of my ear. Yup…stuck fucking needles in my ears to get me to calm down. Needless to say, it worked and I chilled the fuck out. I don’t know how the hell it works, but it does.
My mom was like a little kid at the appt. Asking tons of questions, playing with the fake plants, grimacing every time he put another needle in me. I don’t know if it made it better or worse, but it was nice having someone there with me.
