Day 3

A little late on posting this, but better late than never right?! As you guys know it was Josh’s birthday today so between running classes and bday festivities we were pretty busy today.

How are you guys all doing so far? Any tough points? Anything going well? Want to kill anyone yet? Or eat them? Let me know in your comments! I always love hearing people’s stance the first couple of days.

I downloaded the WordPress app for my phone so that I can keep posting this weekend while we are away in IN for the Great Lakes Invitational. If you guys have any questions I’ll be by my phone bored, killing time between workouts. Hit me up!

    M-pork chop, big salad with chicken, cheese, almonds, 3 hard boiled eggs, vinegar and oil
    S-Whole fat Greek yogurt with raspberries and strawberries

    I am hitting my everything Sucks Point!! Food Sucks, My Performance in the Gym Sucks, Everything Sucks!!! Good News is I know this feeling will pass and I know this is going to make me feel better in the long run 🙂

    BreakFast: 3 scrambled eggs 4 Pieces of Bacon

    Snack: Almonds / Glass of Blended Coconut Oil &Cinnamon Hot Water

    Lunch: baked Sausage & Veggie Stuffed Mushrooms

    Dinner: Pork Chops & Butter Nut Squash

    Dessert: Yeah I know your thinking wtf fatty, but we were celebrating both mine & my hubby’s bday. Everyone had Cake & Ice cream. I settled for a Tiny Bowl of So Delicious Coconut Milk Chocolate Ice cream

    Before Bed: Glass of Blended Coconut Oil &Cinnamon Hot Water

    WOD: Yep

    Sleep: 10 hours

    S: whey protein/peanut butter/banana
    M: chicken breast w/pepper in coconut oil
    S:wild albacore tuna
    M: chicken breast w/sweet potatoe
    WOD: yes
    Sleep:7.5 hrs

    Breakfast: 6 eggs, 5 pieces of bacon, and 3 small peppers (yellow, red, orange)

    Snack: apple with teaspoon of almond butter

    Lunch: salad (romaine lettuce, pepper, avocado, chicken, and bacon)

    Snack: mixed nuts

    Dinner: two grilled turkey patties, half of avocado, steamed broccoli, carrots, and water chestnuts.

    Did WOD

    Slept 7+ hours.

    B: Paleo Cereal (basically a bunch of nuts, coconut oil, coconut shreds) in almond milk
    S: Celery with Almond Butter
    L: Salad with grilled chicken breast, balsamic dressing, fresh fruit
    S: Homemade Paleo granola (more nuts, raw honey, baked)
    D: Few pcs of sauteed calamari, strawberry spinach salad with balsamic, sweet potato fries, and yes, a cider (it was a long day)

    WOD: yes, dont remember time
    Sleep: 8 hrs

    B- 2 hard boiled eggs, pan seared pork chop, almonds, Black coffee with almond milk
    L-mixed greens with olive oil/vinegar/balsamic vinaigrette dressing,pan seared sirloin steak, hard boiled egg
    S-beef jerky and almonds
    D-pan seared sirloin steak cutlets, sautéed egg plants in olive oil, chili powder, red pepper, garlic, onion..
    S- almonds
    WOD : No
    Sleep: 8

    I am missing my bread, beans, potatoes, oatmeal and sweet treats. This sucks! BUT, my body feels better – less bloat, my jeans fit better so its worth it so far…. is it really just Day 3??

    WOD: Yes
    Sleep: IN BED for 7 hours but got no where near that. Sleeping very fitful, not deep.

    While I over did it yesterday with two works outs. Wod in the morning and grappled and boxed at night. Felt gorilla strong while grappling. Couldn’t get out of bed to make it wod today so just did 1 hour grappling session.
    B after grappling @ 1230 scoop of regen two eggs avocado half a small sweet potato
    S celery sticks with peanut butter
    D. Coconut crusted salmon I filet 1/2 of one large sweet potato with Kerry gold garlic crushed mint , pecans and orange zest

    I havent hit that awful detox point yet but I know its just a matter of time. I had a lingering headache but thats about it.
    S- Coffee heavy whipped with 2 scoops of protein
    M- Salmon, raw carrots and green beans, passionfruit wheatgrass juice
    S- Celery with almond butter
    M- Tilapia with spinach, artichokes and olive oil, side salad with squeezed lemon as dressing, and a side of asparagus
    WOD: 15:36 Rx
    Sleep: 9 1/2 hours… Definitely not a sleep that entire time. Tossed and turned a majority of the night
    Fish Oil: 3 pills

    lunch- apple with almond butter
    S- post wind protein shake
    dinner- more left over pork, 1/2 cucumber, hand full of raspberries, spoon of almond butter.

    B- 2 egg muffins (with zucchini, mushrooms, peppers, green onions)
    S- Celery stalk with almond butter
    L- Salad with a piece of pork roast (greens, 1 avocado, sunflower seeds, a few grape tomatoes and cucumber slices).
    S- Almonds- maybe 1/2 cup
    D- almond chicken breast, brussel sprouts (maybe 10 or so), sliced sauteed mushrooms
    WOD- Yes
    Sleep- 7 hours

    S- 1/4 cup of pecans
    L- Grilled Salmon over mixed greens, avocado, asparagus
    D- Burger patty with 1/2 avocado, 1 cup of broccoli & cauliflower
    WOD- no
    Sleep- 7.5 hours

    It’s hard, I de-railed when Rick came home for the night. Other than that I’m just dealing with some headaches but doing okay. Time to get back at it and stay strict!

    S- Apple
    M- pizza 😦 I ate my feelings!!

    B 2 hard boiled eggs and a smoothie with spinach kale a carrot and 1/8 cup mixed berries and almond butter.

    S chicken breast with celery with almond butter

    L paleo chili, cucumber slices, almond milk

    S chicken breast with carrots and almonds

    D scrambled eggs with a touch of coconut oil in the pan and bacon, almond milk sweet potato.
