Day 2


WELLLLLLL TUESDAY HOLY SHIT! what a great day! Coached the 8:30 and then got to workout with my chi town peeps afterwards it was a pretty fun and miserable time all at once! I got to crush andy in the first part and then got to feel like a little bitch in the 225# overhead holds… usually 4 min flys by trying to hold 225# overhead but now thats a son of a bitch!! Had a pretty sweet long board session with my crazy wife around the neighborhood and found the perfect route to where you can cruise the whole time! Then thats when the day got really cool, went in at 4:30 to run an intro to crossfit class for a friend! Damn i forgot how much fun it is to put someone through their first workout! brought back some memories from when i ran Erik Svensen through his first workout in the garage gym and then had to watch him puke in my front yard, sleep on my porch for 2 hours and barley be able to walk to his car and yet he still came back to the garage the next day and has been with us ever since! I know Jeff won’t get to be here for very long as he is getting ready for his move to Missouri but it is awesome that we have such a cool gym with such an awesome community to welcome him for the little bit of time he has left in Illinois and be able to show him the ropes of crossfit and RECKLESS!! Thank you to everyone who continues to help us grow our community and make reckless the dream job, We truly love all of you guys even if we talk shit to you or push you past your comfort zone in the workouts its all just cause we want you to be better and know you have it in you!

    I’ve got to admit, today was really shitty when it came to food.
    WOD: 15:17
    Challenge WOD: 8:30 with green/blue bands
    Breakfast: Eggs with Chorizo
    Dinner: Salad with cucumbers.

    I had a real shitty day at work, we had the biggest rush ever and fucking christ I just couldn’t find the time to eat. But hopefully next time will be alot better.
